BS 7861-1:2007 specifies dimensional, material and performance requirements for rockbolting support system components used in coal mines. Components included are steel rockbolts, glass reinforced plastics (GRP) rockbolts, resins, nuts, conical seats and domed washer plates.
BS 7861-1:2007 does not cover the assembly or installation of these components to form a rockbolting support system on site.
