This British Standard specifies materials, construction and performance requirements for reusable portable urinals intended for use by females (type 1) and males (type 2). A smaller size (type 3) for males is also specified.

The urinals specified in this standard are intended to fit into bed pan/urinal washer-disinfectors conforming to BS 2745-2.
