What is this PAS about?

Sponsored by the Greyhound Board of Great Britain, this PAS was written as a result of Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs’ recommendations following a government review of greyhound racing legislation.

It provides a kennel standard for racing greyhounds that supports good welfare practice.

Who is this PAS for?

 It will be used by trainers of racing greyhounds. 

NOTE - This PAS is not intended for:

  • Other breeds of dog
  • Kennels that only accommodate retired greyhounds
  • Commercial greyhound breeding establishments
  • Greyhound track kennels
  • Kennels that are only for greyhounds under 15 months old
  • The transportation of greyhounds
