BS EN ISO 9455-10:2001 specifies a method for the determination of the efficacy of a soft soldering flux. The method is known as the solder spread method and is applicable to all flux classes defined in BS EN 29454-1:1994, ISO 9454-1:1990.
This part of BS EN ISO 9455 is only applicable for liquid fluxes > 10 % (m/m).
BS EN ISO 9455-10:2001 replaces BS 5625:1980, which has been withdrawn.
