1 Scope
This part of BS 7976 specifies a method of operation of the pendulum tester specified in BS 7976‑1. It is applicable only for use in determining the slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces.

NOTE This method of operation is used to determine the pendulum test value. It is also used during calibration, the method of which is specified in BS 7976‑3.
