This section of Part 2 of IEC Publication 598 specifies requirements for fixed general purpose luminaires for use with tungsten filament, tubular fluorescent and other discharge lamps on supply voltages not exceeding 1 000 V. It is to be read in conjunction with those sections of Part 1 to which reference is made.
