Summary
BS ISO/IEC 24703:2004 specifies the datatype of participant identifiers in learning, education and training. Participants may be users, teachers, agents, groups, organizations, institutions, etc.
Security and protection of personal data associated with the use of a participant identifier is not addressed in this standard. The naming policy, registration, and authentication of participant identifiers are outside the scope of this International Standard.
