BS 5306-0:1986 gives guidance on the selection, installation and maintenance of automatic water sprinkler and spray systems, carbon dioxide and halon systems, foam and extinguishing powder systems. It also gives guidance on installed equipment for fire service use, and on the application of portable fire extinguishers. It complements the more detailed information given in the other specialized Parts of this standard.
