Why should you use this standard?
This standard covers the protection requirements in Annex I, Article 1(a) of the EU Directive 2004/108/EC, and essential requirements of Article 3.1(b) (immunity only) of EU Directive 1999/5/ED. Compliance with this standard therefore provides presumption of conformity with the specified essential requirements of the Directives concerned.
What’s changed since the last update?
This standard is identical to CISPR 32:2015, incorporating corrigendum June 2016 which corrects Table B.1.
Together with BS EN 50561-1:2013 it supersedes BS EN 55032:2012 which will be withdrawn on 5 May 2018.
