Why should you use this standard?
BS EN 10209:2013 gives the most up-to-date guidelines and recommendations for the safe and efficient technical delivery of cold rolled non-coated low carbon steel flat products. It applies to rolled widths equal to or over 600 mm and in thicknesses equal to or less than 3 mm, delivered in sheet, wide strip, slit wide strip or cut lengths obtained from slit wide strip or sheet.
It includes requirements for the steel making and manufacturing processes, chemical composition, suitability for vitreous enamelling, mechanical properties and delivery conditions.
What’s changed since the last update?
BS EN 10209:2013 has been fully revised by experts to bring it up-to-date with worldwide technological developments and industry best practice. It replaces BS 10209:1996 which has been withdrawn.
