BS EN 60730-2-14:1997+A2:2008 Automatic electrical controls for household and similar use. Particular requirements for electric actuators
BS EN 60730-2-14 gives information on the testing and inherent safety (including operating values, operating times, and operating sequences) of automatic electrical control devices used with household type equipment for heating, air-conditioning and ventilation.
BS EN 60730-2-14 deals specifically with electric actuators using NTC or PTC thermistors, additional requirements for which are contained in Annex J.
BS EN 60730-2-14.also covers electric actuators for equipment intended to be used by laymen in shops, in light industry and on farms.
BS EN 60730-2-14 does not apply to electric actuators which are mechanically integral with valves.
