What is BS EN 9101:2008?
Aerospace industry organizations must produce and continually improve safe, reliable products to meet both customer and regulatory authority requirements. With the globalisation of the aerospace industry and the resulting diversity of regional or national requirements and expectations, this is becoming increasingly difficult. To help aerospace suppliers and processors step up to this challenge, BS EN 9101:2008 has been prepared by the Aerospace and Defence Industries Association of Europe.
How does it work?
BS EN 9101:2008 first explains the purpose of each assessment. It then looks at the relevant quality management system assessment report content, and provides a quality management system questionnaire. The standard also covers quality management system audit scoring.
